In attendance:      Malcolm Nettles, John Watson, Tim Teague, Ted Thomson, Jason

                           Beers, Kerry Collie, Eric Marquez

Absent:                Jim Mathis

 

 

• The meeting is called to order at 7:05pm by the President, Malcolm Nettles.

 

• A motion is made to adopt the minutes from prior meetings (Gimenez), a second is announced (Watson), and the motion passes unanimously.

 

• Board members elected 2008 officers: Malcolm Nettles, President &Membership; John Watson, Vice President; Joe Gimenez, Treasurer & Membership; Eric Marquez, Secretary; Jason Beers, Security; Kerry Collie, Fundraising and Events; Ted Thomson, Clubhouse Activities; Tim Teague, Maintenance; Jim Mathis, Pool/Splashers.

 

• The Board voted 6-1, with one abstention, to charge deeded access property owners $100 for security gate cards to access the park after hours, primarily for administration and maintenance related costs. (Motion: Nettles, Second: Gimenez, For: Watson, Teague, Beers, Marquez, Against: Collie, Abstention: Thomson)

 

• The Board is looking into the repair of the retaining wall on the east side of the park, to expand amount of usable lake frontage for members.

 

• The Board discussed the issue of fixing the pool bathrooms.

 

• Motion from floor (Bob Caldwell) to compensate Tim Teague for test holes at cost.

 

• The Board also approved seeding the park with winter rye grass.

 

• Motion for meeting to adjourn at 8:50pm by (Nettles), second (Watson), motion unanimously approved.

 

• The next meeting will be held at the Clubhouse on December 11, 2007 at 7:00pm.
