MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
The
Lake Hills Community Association is one of the
most effective and successful community associations
in Austin, providing its members with a beautiful
lakeside park; a guarded swimming pool; a boat
ramp and docks; a roped beach area; and, a friendly,
safe environment with many other recreational
amenities. Established in 1985, the LHCA has steadily
improved the community’s quality of life
by providing one of the friendliest neighborhoods
in all of Austin.
MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS AND PRIVILEGES
Any person or household owning property inside
the area served by Travis County Water Control
Board and Improvement District #18, as of June
27, 1990, is eligible for membership in the association.
However, the membership is currently capped at
450 member families.
Membership in the LHCA entitles you to use the
Association’s private lakefront facilities
on Lake Austin for recreational and boating activities.
In addition, there’s a basketball and volleyball
court, children’s playground, swimming pool
and clubhouse available for Member use. Each membership
is eligible to receive up to three (3) parking
tags for their vehicles, provided registration
information is provided.
People who rent or own property within the above
described association boundaries are eligible
to apply for association membership. Applications
are accepted throughout the year. To join the
association, you must fill out an application

Should the Association reach its cap on members,
the postmark on your letter will determine your
place on the waiting list.
