Dear LHCA Member:

In response to ongoing serious concern about non-members using our park, the LHCA Board decided two months ago to close the security gate all day every day until security gate guards can be posted on a regular basis.

Yesterday the gate closed.

Because of budget restraints we won't have security guards on a regular basis until May. It's our hope this measure -- of closing the gate -- will reduce the amount of non-members using our park.

Please remember to bring your card to the park with you. The card reader is located on the left side of the entrance. Just swipe your card within about 12 inches for it to activate the gate.

If you forget your card you can park in the lot behind the pool and use a pedestrian gate located to the right of the main gate to access the park.

The gate opens automatically when you exit the park -- just slowly draw your car up close to the gate until the gate begins to open.

We recommend using a Sharpie to write your name and member number on your card, so that it can be returned to you.
